I welcome the opportunity
to create a commission painting. Because of your involvement
in the process, the painting will become more personal and
meaningful . I will work with you to make sure you are
completely satisfied.
Depending on
the size it usually it takes me about 3 to 5 weeks to
complete the painting.
At the beginning stage I like to find out
which paintings you like and why. I ask you to select 3 to 5
of my paintings you like the most. I then follow up
discussing with you many aspects of the painting including
subject matter, colors, contrast, composition, visual depth,
texture and abstract quality. Also, any photographs of the
place where the painting is going to be displayed can be
beneficial. I’d like to see the colors of the walls and any
dominating colors in the room.
During the whole process, you will receive
several emails with the progression of the painting. This
way you won’t be surprised when you get the finished
painting, and in a way, you become the part of the process.
I collect 50% of the deposit up front.
Remaining 50% is due upon completion of the painting.
